I went to Christmas in the Park last night to meet with my friend and her family, but just as I walked in, they left. So I decided to walk around downtown. I found Leroy playing saxophone. It's not unusual to find someone playing music on the sidewalk, but he had posted himself in a particular spot in my mind. It was a major walk way, in the heart of downtown. I stopped to listen for awhile while I let my eyes look, see and search. Finally when I saw what I wanted to capture I raised my camera. Leroy was a jovial guy and people liked his music because they stopped to listen for a minute. But he really captured the attention of a few little girls. They were fixed until their parents dragged them away. I might have been just like those little girls because I lingered too.
